CAT debacle

I managed to get 89% in CAT 2008. And still I would say that I prepared for it.
Now thats called insistence.

Office blues

Sitting at 1:30 AM in night in office , I never thought my August 1 would turn out to be this way. Anyways as they say that Money is the root of all evils. May be it has turned out to be the same again. My appraisal is due in hardly 8 hours from now , so I cannot even run away. WTF!

Pain grows

Btw , exactly a week back there was a bomb blast in Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad. To witness all the chaos in a office which is totally insulated from any effects of it , was an experience in itself.
I have now started to believe in the well known Murphy's Law "If something can go wrong, it probably will". The worst thing that can happen to our society is the ever growing disbelief among people who follow different faith. I never understand why is this happening.

Somebody once asked me: Are u a human or a Hindu?
I thought.. I was a HUMAN till i realized that I am supposed to be a Hindu.

Better late than never

Its days before i am blogging again. Today with a little purpose. This is to promote a new product of Google call Blackle.
Its the same search engine of Google, just with a black background. This helps in saving some minuscule amount of power of your computer. The word minuscule may not be proper when you consider how many people turn to Google search page everyday. This was for the introduction. Yeah. They Did it again!

Great going Aussies.. My favorite team Australia brushed aside all the apprehensions that it may lose out in finals. After all it defies all logic how can a team not lose a single world cup match since the starting of the century (ie. since 2000). How can a team transforms itself to be invincible especially in situations when it matters the most. The simple answer to this is (what I believe) that this team performs its best under pressure. Unlike Indians , South Africans and many others they are not chokers. They don't believing in giving excuses. They spirit of team work and working for a common goal is so high that it virtually glares like a tiger into the eyes of its prey. Imagine India winning 2007 world cup and the great Sachin Tendulkar retiring , to make space for new talent. Its hard to envisage such a situation , for we Indians are not brought up to handle such situations . We generally prefer keep on dragging till we disappear in the oblivion rather than exit gracefully. Starkly it is evident in Indian politics too.
One should see our honorable HRD Minister, Arjun Singh. Vested with the power to develop the Human Resources of the country , he need two persons supporting him to walk! Hope he figures soon out that though the time has long past for him to retire with the magnificence of Share Warne or Glenn McGraath , but do we need another Kapil Dev (his exit was equally dull and prolonged).
